EduJedi Leadership Society Awards at Learning Counsel 2020

This year marks a true turning point for educational technology. In only a few decades we’ve come to rely on tools that let teachers see students via video, distribute instructional materials online, track learning progress in software, and provide live support from a distance. Those modern tools have preserved learning—fully or partially—for tens of millions of students, and it’s important to acknowledge that progress.

Now in its eighth year, the Learning Counsel’s Digital Transition Survey attracted participation from more than 32,000 schools and districts. Over 1,000 moved to the review stage and more than 100 reached final analysis—more than double prior years. This year 65 EduJedi Levels were awarded, a fourfold increase over any previous year of the survey.

LeiLani Cauthen, CEO and Publisher at The Learning Counsel, said, “We are proud of every educator and every school working to provide learning in these challenging times, and of those achieving better outcomes despite obstacles.”
